I contacted Nintendo by phone, they were sympathetic but offered nothing to help resolve the situation other than to go to and ask a question there. What does that mean? minutes? Hours? Days? I didn't receive an email for renewal, that would have been nice and they would have gotten my money sooner. They give no direct information or time frame as to when action needs to be taken in order to not lose your pokemon, they only say as quickly as possible. If you wish to continue using the service, please purchase your next pass as quickly as possible."
